Congratulations to our Patron Dr Lady Sue Dale Tunnicliffe

We are extremely proud to celebrate our patron, Lady Sue Dale Tunnicliffe, on being awarded the Governor-General's Faithful and Meritorious Service Cross (FMC) for her outstanding contributions to science education in Antigua and Barbuda and across the Commonwealth.

Lady Tunnicliffe is a biologist and science educator whose distinguished career spans more than five decades. She is recognised internationally for her pioneering work in children's biological learning, early-years science education, and inquiry-based science pedagogy. Her research has influenced how young children in the Caribbean and across the Commonwealth engage with the living world through meaningful encounters with nature.

Throughout her career, Lady Tunnicliffe has championed equity in science learning, mentored generations of educators, and strengthened human capacity in STEM learning across the region.

On behalf of everyone at Sreepur Village, we offer our warmest congratulations to Lady Tunnicliffe on this well-deserved honour. We are privileged to have her as our patron.
