Celebrating 33 years of Sreepur

On Tuesday 12th July 2022, one of our trustees, Sabbir Karim, hosted a celebratory lunch in one of his three outstanding restaurants, highlighting the work of Sreepur over the last 33 years to the British- Bangladeshi community.

In sharing this magnificent milestone, Sabbir was joined by Pat Kerr, the founder of Sreepur, the Mayor of Camden Cllr. Nasim Ali. Bangladeshi Actor Ferdous Ahmed and Channel s as well many other prominent dignitaries from the British-Bangladeshi community.

Mouth-watering dishes were served while raffle tickets were sold all helping to raise significant funds for more families in Bangladesh.

It was a true taste of Sreepur, from Bangladeshi cuisine to acknowledging the work of a charity, who for over 33 years has never given up hope on transforming the lives of mothers and their children in Bangladesh
