Trustee Sabbir Karim honoured at Asian Curry Awards

We are delighted to announce that our trustee Sabbir Karim has been recognised at the Asian Curry Awards with an award for Outstanding Contribution to Charity and Community Service.

Sabbir's connection to Sreepur Village spans over 29 years. As British Airways cabin crew, he continues the airline's founding role in establishing Sreepur Village, bringing the same dedication and commitment to our work today.

This British-Bangladeshi community champion has spent nearly three decades supporting vulnerable women and children in Bangladesh, bridging cultures and continents through his tireless work. His contribution extends far beyond his role as trustee, touching the lives of the families we serve and inspiring everyone who works with him.

We could not be prouder of this well-deserved recognition.
