Debra Ballard

Over the past 30 years, Debra has held management positions at Town & Country Magazine, Veranda Magazine and Couture International Jeweler/Couture Conference and Show as Publisher at Neilsen Business Media. Today she heads her own consulting company, Ballard Luxe. Debra has been on the BOD for Family Promise South Palm Beach County FL, Bartow Pell Conservancy, Bronx, New York, The Halsey Day Nursey, New York, New York and Bailey House, the first residence for HIV/AIDS homeless in New York, New York. In her spare time, Debra teaches the 4 th and 5 th grade Sunday School at Saint Gregory’s Episcopal Church in Boca Raton, FL

Sreepur Village is a remarkable non-profit charity that supports women and children in rural Bangladesh. I firmly respect and believe that poverty should not separate children from their families and Sreepur Village is a vibrant portrait showing how women and children can stay together while also receiving livelihood and literacy training. Knowing that these women can actually wake up every morning knowing she will be safe, receive nutritious meals and find companionship with other women facing similar circumstances gives me the energy and drive to help fund this life changing organization.
